Eley 'Paradox' - Single Projectile
A fascinating piece of British sporting history, the Eley “Paradox” was developed for Holland & Holland’s celebrated Paradox gun—a distinctive hybrid capable of firing both shot and solid projectiles. Although intended to gain its best accuracy from the Paradox gun’s rifled choke, the cartridge could also be fired from a suitably chambered conventional smoothbore shotgun, making it a remarkably versatile period design.
This single vintage cartridge carries the celebrated Eley Brothers name and is an uncommon, highly displayable addition to a specialist ammunition or British field-sports collection.
