The "Eley Rocket Cartridge"

"The Eley Rocket"

Show the flight of the shot - slogan

Introduced in the early 1930s, the Eley “Rocket” was an unusual tracer shotgun cartridge designed to make the path of the shot visible in flight, helping shooters see and correct their aim.

Later associated with RAF aerial-gunnery training, the Rocket is a fascinating example of British ammunition innovation and is now a distinctive collectors’ cartridge.

The brass cap has a ribbed surround so you could identity the cartridge as a tracer even in the dark
